The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) is pleased to announce a new Webinar Series in collaboration with senior and experienced lawyers from across Canada, many of whom are Fellows of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers (CCCL).
This Webinar Series will focus on the legal challenges of modern architectural practice and aims to cultivate legal literacy, raise awareness of common legal issues, and offer solutions to mitigate such problems.
The series includes three live online webinars led by a group of renowned construction lawyers and includes the perspectives and experiences of clients, constructors, and consultants. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about industry issues from various perspectives through multiple speakers leading each session. Each webinar will be moderated by Andrea Lee and address the progressive challenges of contract administration, ambivalences of the standard of care, and emerging contracting risks, including a Q&A period at the end of each session.
All live online webinars in this webinar series are free for RAIC members. Pre-registration is required for each webinar, and participants must register separately to attend each webinar. Non-members are also welcome to attend the live online webinars for a $25 registration fee per webinar.
