In partnership with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) has endorsed the design competition for the renewal of Block 2 and has designated professional advisors to oversee the overall competition process, which ended with the announcement of the winning design concept on May 16, 2022. The RAIC's contributions included:
- Providing general advice about the design competition processes, including, but not limited to:
- a. The competition Brief
- b. The remuneration and prize structure
- c. The selection of the jury
- Providing expertise in managing design competitions through Phase Eins, a firm that coordinated and conducted the competition as the project manager.
