Presenters


Sandra Astolfo is a Partner at WeirFoulds with a practice devoted to infrastructure and construction law. She has worked with her clients for almost 30 years and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs and industry conferences.
 
Sandra is a Fellow of both the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and the Construction Lawyers Society of America. Both are associations composed of outstanding lawyers who are distinguished for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct.

J. Marc MacEwing graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School in 1979 and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1980. Since 1982, he has practiced extensively in the area of construction law, focusing on builders liens, tendering disputes, the preparation and analysis of contract documents and construction–related litigation.
 
Marc has been “Repeatedly Recommended” by the Lexpert Directory as a Leading Practitioner in the construction law practice area for BC, Peer Review Rated “Very High” for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. He’s included in The Best Lawyers in Canada and Who’s Who Legal in the Construction Law practice area, and he is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.

She has practiced exclusively in construction law since her call to the bar in 2006. Andrea regularly advises parties in the industry with respect to construction contracts and professional design agreements.
