All members are invited to attend RAIC’s AGM which will take place during the Festival of Architecture in Nanaimo, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (PT) in Departure A & B at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.
A special resolution to amend RAIC By-laws regarding RAIC designations will require members’ approval. This means that it must have the support of 2/3 of the members present at the AGM. Members are entitled to express their views at the AGM and cast their own vote and any other proxy votes they hold. Members who are unable to attend the AGM in Nanaimo can allocate their vote by proxy to another RAIC member who plans to attend or to their regional representative on the Board who will vote as the member instructs on the issue. The proxy must be received at the RAIC National Office no later than May 24.
