Modern Canadian architecture created between the 1950s and 1970s faces many threats, including deterioration aging and lack of engagement from indifferent communities. The richness of these buildings requires a renewed approach of sensitivity and understanding, allowing their fading beauty to be revealed and rediscovered. This session will explore how we can position ourselves in the face of the various present challenges facing modern heritage, and how do we extract the essence of this rich testimony of the modern era.
