DESCRIPTION: Join us for an informative webinar from Mark Showers, p.Eng., CP and Corrie Lubben, EIT, RHFAC Professional from Celerity Engineering Limited on recent BC Building Code revisions. The first half of the presentation will focus on BCBC 2024 Revision 3 - Single Exit Stair Buildings. The second half of the presentation will focus on revisions to Adaptable Dwelling Unit requirements.

| Marc Showers is registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, and a Certified Professional in the City of Vancouver. Marc has been with Celerity Engineering since 2015. He is involved in projects in all stages of the design and construction process, with responsibilities focused on Building Code and Fire Code reviews of new and existing complex buildings of residential, institutional, commercial, industrial, assembly, and mixed-use occupancies. | Corie Lubben is registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia. She graduated from McMaster University, with a B.Eng. degree. Corie has worked for Celerity since 2016, with responsibilities focused on Building Code and Fire Code reviews of new and existing buildings of residential, institution, commercial, industrial, assembly, and mixed uses. She completed the AIBC Advanced Code Knowledge course in 2021. In 2024, Corie completed the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification Professional training program. |
