In this session, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of digital and BIM deliverables, crucial for navigating and responding to proposals effectively. If you repeatedly experience RFPS asking for vague or lengthy BIM requirements or are not sure what you are agreeing to. This session will provide a solid foundation of essential BIM concepts relevant to business development teams, including BIM uses and common terms that are referenced in RFPs, and provide strategies for addressing both vague and detailed digital requirements. We will unpack how to deal with vague and detailed digital deliverables as well as how to respond to proposals highlighting the qualifications of your organization and project team. This session is ideal for high-level executives or management teams, all members of the business development team. Attendees do not need to know about BIM and this session is not about Revit.

Boasting over twenty years of experience, Cozzitorto is the Principal at BIM DnA Group, a consulting firm focused on digitalization and adaptation of the built asset industry. Additionally, her appointment as President of buildingSMART Canada highlights her commitment to the digital transformation in Canada. This includes fostering the development and promotion of open, international standards and solutions. Cozzitorto’s contributions are pivotal in advancing Canada as the founder and former chair of the Toronto BIM Community, a former board member of the Institute for BIM in Canada Steering Committee and a BIM subject matter expert for the Canadian Handbook of Practice, and is active speaker on openBIM, BIM standardization, and technology's influence on the industry.
