RAIC and Bomber Brewing Launch Label Design Competition Celebrating Architecture and Community

OTTAWA, November 24, 2025 – The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), in partnership with Vancouver’s Bomber Brewing, invites architects, students, designers, artists, and the public to take part in a label design competition celebrating architecture, creativity, and Vancouver’s craft beer culture. 

Under the theme “Architecture Connects Us,” participants are asked to create a label design for a limited-edition Bomber Brewing lager prepared specially for the RAIC 2026 Conference on Architecture. The winning label will appear on cans served at the conference and available locally during the event. 

Theme - Architecture Connects Us 

Designs should explore how architecture brings people, places, and communities together, celebrating connection, creativity, and culture through design. 

Grand Prize 

The grand prize winner will receive: 

  • Their design printed on Bomber Brewing's limited-edition conference lager 

  • An All-Access Pass to the RAIC 2026 Conference on Architecture (valued at $2,000) 

  • Recognition through RAIC and Bomber Brewing media channels 

Two runners-up will be featured in an online showcase. 

Timeline 

  • Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026 

  • Winner Announcement: April 2026 

  • Beer Launch: April 2026 (private event at Bomber Brewing) 

  • RAIC 2026 Conference: May 5-8, 2026
