Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) Fundamentals Training:
Registration Fee: Member: $1,350 + taxes; Non-Member: $1,500 + taxes
Dates: Courses available in Fall, Winter and Spring
Duration: Approximately 20 hours including 4 live virtual one-hour weekly sessions

This four-week, online, self-paced course will provide you with the foundational knowledge to understand the needs of people with disabilities and how our physical spaces can be made more accessible. Enhance your knowledge and application of Universal Design and meaningful accessibility through video interviews of people with lived experience, leading subject matter experts, and case studies. This course will take approximately 20 hours to complete.
Peer to peer learning via one-hour virtual sessions will take place weekly. Discussions will be facilitated by an RHFAC Professional Instructor and sessions will be recorded.

Duration: Approximately 60 hours including 8 live virtual two-hour weekly sessions

Whether you are planning, designing, constructing or operating a site, Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) Professional Training will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply a meaningful access lens to your projects, and rate a building for its overall accessibility under the RHFAC program.
Enhance your skills and demonstrate your commitment to access and inclusion by taking this 8-week course. The course will take approximately 60 hours to complete, and you must complete and successfully pass this course and exam to qualify for your RHFAC Professional designation. Prerequisites apply.
