Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Articulate the difference between gender, sex, and sexual orientation
- Identify appropriate use of pronouns and inclusive language as it relates to sex, gender, and sexual orientation
- Describe actions that demonstrate active allyship
Subject Matter Expert:
Holly Reid is an occupational therapist and Ph.D. student in the UBC rehabilitation sciences program. Holly began working in mental health as a new grad, transitioned to acute care, then to a community setting in their hometown on unceded WSANEC territory on what settlers called Vancouver Island.
