Company Description
harvey Architecture is an established firm with a strong reputation where people are placed first. We support one another to learn and embrace new challenges in a friendly environment. We work in an open studio where we are all valued equally in a respectful environment.
Our work is broadly distributed across sectors. We have repeat clients whom we aim to serve efficiently and professionally. Our primary area of expertise is in education, and we have a number of large projects that are being developed and constructed in that sector. We also have a rich catalog of healthcare, community centres, public services infrastructure, commercial and industrial buildings.
Our diverse range of clients ensures everyday brings new challenges and opportunities. We work with municipalities, indigenous communities and not-for-profits, across the maritime provinces as well as commercial entities looking to bring their business to the next level with a new facility. An Architect in our firm should expect to feel truly connected to these communities and contribute to their socioeconomic development. This is the genesis of our passion to deliver high quality architecture.
We work closely with contractors and on many projects we work in design build arrangements. We require an architect that is enthusiastic about developing strong working relationships with key members of the contractor’s project team. We believe maintaining positive relationships with everyone is critical to effective completion of projects and is frankly a more enjoyable experience for us all.
All projects are encouraged to maximize the potential for responsible energy performance and as a result we are developing standard approaches to simplify selections of assemblies across all building types. We expect an architect to be well versed in balancing these goals with typical budget concerns.
