Sean Duffy is the Senior Manager at Elevate by Welch, with more than 10 years of accounting and finance experience. Sean is one of the very few cloud-based accountants who have an in-depth knowledge of Quickbooks Online as well as desktop applications. His familiarity with these cutting-edge technologies allows his clients to benefit from a more streamlined process, while still maintaining secure data backups and information security protocols. He joined Elevate with an extensive background in small-business cloud-accounting, which he leveraged into successfully building a new business line for the firm. Sean focuses on leveraging his expertise across a wide variety of industries to provide best-in-class solutions for his clients. Sean earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, as well as a Diplome d'Etudes Superieures Specialise en Finance from the Universite du Quebec en Outaouais. He studied accounting at Carleton University with CMA Ontario and earned his CPA. He is a QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor and was a finalist for QuickBooks Firm of the Future in 2018.

Peter is an audit and accounting Partner and the firm’s construction and real estate industry group leader. He works with many real estate developers and commercial property managers and provides clients with an integrated approach to their accounting and tax needs, optimizing the big picture of a client situation. Peter also works with many family businesses in succession and transition planning, as well as advising clients through estate planning and estate administration. After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s Diploma in Accounting, Peter joined Welch in 2010. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2011 and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2015.
