Intermediate Architectural Technologist

STUDIOS is growing, we are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join our collaborative team and help bring thoughtful spaces to life. The Intermediate Architectural Technologist plays a key role in our design team, reporting to the Production Manager. The Intermediate Architectural Technologist will be involved in the production of all aspects of a project, including programming design development, working drawing and construction administration. Possessing passion in their profession, the successful candidate will have a solid technical background including advanced REVIT and AutoCAD experience. Skill and Professional Requirements • 5+ years’ experience in an Architectural Technologist role • Advanced technical understanding and proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT • Demonstrated experience creating working and detailed construction drawings and 3D models •Thorough understanding of Building Code & Bylaws - ability to implement this information into Code reviews as applicable to each project •Knowledge of the drawing production process •Professional attitude, punctual, assertive and personable with strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality •Ability to listen, speak and communicate effectively •Focused on accuracy and customer satisfaction •Excellent time management skills - ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment •Self-starter - ability to work in group or on an individual basis Essential Job Duties • Collaboration and Communication • Design and Documentation •Permitting and Compliance •Review and Quality Control •Construction Admin
