ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST or INTERN ARCHITECT Location: Victoria or Vancouver, British Columbia Compensation: Commensurate with experience We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Technologist or Intern Architect with 3+ years of experience to join our collaborative studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in a supportive, design-focused environment. ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you will contribute to the design and technical development of architectural projects across various sectors. You will work alongside project architects and team members to produce construction drawings, coordinate with consultants, and help deliver high-quality buildings from concept through to completion. WHAT YOU BRING: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in an architectural firm setting Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology OR a professional degree in Architecture Registration with AIBC as an Intern Architect or Architectural Technologist, or eligible for registration Strong technical skills and understanding of building systems and detailing Experience with construction documentation and coordination with consultants Proficiency in Revit is essential; familiarity with Vectorworks is a strong asset Solid knowledge of the BC Building Code (Part 3) and local permitting processes Experience working on projects in sectors such as multi-family residential, commercial, or civic buildings is an asset Ability to work independently and manage deadlines across multiple projects Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal WHY JOIN US: Work in a collaborative, open-concept studio with a small, engaged team Exposure to diverse, high-quality projects in a supportive environment Opportunity to grow professionally and work closely with firm leadership Focus on sustainable design and meaningful community contributions If you're an Architectural Technologist or Intern Architect who’s passionate about design and technical excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
