La bibliothèque centrale de Halifax est l’édifice public le plus important construit à Halifax depuis plus d’une génération. C’est le nouveau carrefour culturel de la région et il atteint son objectif d’être un endroit où il y a place pour tous.
Le bâtiment est composé de trois volumes de verre empilés et surmontés par un monumental porte-à-faux de verre qui profite des vues sur l’océan et sur les points d’intérêt de la péninsule de Halifax.
