SPEAKER:  James Johnson, Interior Construction Specialist, Innovior Construction

 

James has spent over 30 years of his career working in commercial construction, specializing in off-site manufactured interior construction. His approach focuses on revolutionizing traditional construction methods by reducing on-site construction time, ensuring consistent quality control, achieving substantial construction standards, and eliminating construction waste.

James is a graduate of UBC in Construction Claims Prevention. James also has a degree in Farm Management from McGill University. In his spare time, James is a licensed amateur radio operator and a volunteer firefighter. 

 

DESCRIPTION:

While interior fit-out industries and companies have developed to varying degrees over the past twenty years, there have been interesting developments aided by technology with a focus on design spurred on by our dynamic interior environments both commercial and institutional since the pandemic. One company, Falkbuilt has been working to address these matters and continues to evolve with marketplace demands and trends. In their 60 minute presentation which includes a live tour of their factory in Calgary, the audience will be introduced to the challenges and opportunities that one such company has faced and continue to work to develop and advance.
