Shannon Bassett, July 21, 1972 - December 26, 2024

Shannon passed away peacefully with family members by her side at the General Hospital, Ottawa, on the evening of December 26. Beloved daughter of Susan and Desmond, sister of Sean (Stephanie, niece Madison) from Belleville, niece of Wanita Root from Bayfield, Julie Clark (Jay Inglis) from Stratford, Russell Clark (Cathie MacKenzie) from London, Kathy Wood from Thorold, Joan Fitzgerald (John) from St. Catherines, Vivien Riddell (Jim, deceased) from Montreal and Kenneth Bassett from St. Michel des Saints. Also loved by numerous cousins.

CCDC Seminars

With new Construction Management (CM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) construction documents coming soon, the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) is thrilled to be hosting in-person seminars in Spring 2025.

Over 30 seminars will be delivered across Canada between April 28 and May 22 by the CCDC authors themselves. Attendees will be guided on the use and application of the following new documents.

Fenestration Canada - Seeking Speakers for Spring Events

Fenestration Canada is the national Window and Door Association with over 350 members across the country. Our membership includes residential window and door manufacturers as well as commercial glaziers and installers. We hold several events across the country providing education for members and non-members on a wide range of topics. Coming up this spring we have two events that have openings for presenters. The Canadian Glazing Conference in Surrey BC April 8th, and FENCON in Winnipeg Manitoba April 3rd.  If you are interested in presenting at either of these events, please contact Fenestration Canada’s Technical Director at terry@fenestrationcanada.ca.
