À propos du cours
Mass timber is redefining how we design and deliver buildings. This session spotlights three projects at the forefront: The Exchange, an office building in Kelowna, Parcel 19.1, a residential tower in Vancouver, and North Shore Neighbourhood House, an affordable housing residential tower in North Vancouver.
Annabelle Hamilton, Executive Director of WoodWorks BC, will present a business case analysis, breaking down development strategy, cost, risk and opportunities associated with each project. Drawings on real project examples, attendees will gain insights on how mass timber is being applied, lessons learned, and why it is becoming a viable choice for development in today’s challenging market.
