Chapter 3.10 - Appendix C: The Architect as Project Management Service Provider

We'll discuss the pivotal role of the project manager in ensuring the success of architectural projects. This appendix describes the responsibilities of project managers from outsourced organizations, their relationships with stakeholders such as owners, consultants, and contractors, and the process of project management service delivery. We'll explore the increasing complexity of projects in Canada, the growth of the project management field, and the structured approaches embedded within organizations to meet demands for shorter delivery time frames, reduced costs, increased performance, and risk realignment.
