After a successful run as an in-person workshop, we are introducing it in an on-demand format, developed in partnership with the National Research Council and subject matter experts at Ha/f Climate Design. The self-paced course is designed to help professionals assess the environmental impacts of buildings across their life cycle, supporting more sustainable and climate-conscious decision-making. 

The RAIC invites proposals for continuing education sessions and architectural tours for the conference taking place in person in Vancouver, BC May 5-8, 2026 at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.

The Conference program is designed to promote professional and educational success, and will feature high-quality educational sessions with interactive content, innovative ideas, and engaging discussions. The program will also feature local architecture tours that provide exclusive insight into Vancouver’s built environment.

The deadline for submissions is September 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PT.

Parks Canada has announced the beginning of the pre-qualification phase for the architectural design competition after which up to six respondents will be invited to submit conceptual design proposals. The competition will be undertaken in accordance with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) guidance for competitions in Canada.
