This event is part of The Deep Dive: A Roundtable Series for Emerging Professionals.

You don't need a LEED certification or a massive budget to make a difference. Sustainability is really about how you think through every design choice - and there are practical ways to build it into your work, even when clients aren't specifically asking for it.

In this session, we'll walk through real projects and show you simple, high-impact moves you can start using right away… whether you're sketching early concepts, picking materials, or talking with clients. We'll also get into how to grow your career around sustainability and help shift the culture at your firm, one project at a time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how small, intentional design moves can advance sustainability goals.
  • Explore case studies demonstrating real-world impact from incremental actions.
  • Identify practical strategies for integrating sustainability in everyday practice.
  • Learn how early-career professionals can influence firm culture and project outcomes.

This session is sponsored by ROCKWOOL.

ROCKWOOL is the world's leading manufacturer of stone wool insulation and solutions, utilizing volcanic rock to create sustainable products for building, industrial, marine, and horticultural sectors, as well as engineered fiber solutions. With a global presence for over 80 years, the company aims to enrich lives and address modern challenges like energy consumption, noise pollution, and fire safety by releasing the natural power of stone.
