Join the Vancouver Island South Network’s (formerly AIBC Vancouver Island Chapter) first presentation of the Fall, “Outlaw Infill”. Architect D’Arcy Jones will present recently completed and current work from his studio, focusing on quirky and unconventional infill projects. The presentation will focus on design techniques that simultaneously work with and push against architectural conventions, established zoning, and the status quo.

Preparing for the upcoming ExAC in November? This course is designed as an introduction to the NBCC Part 3 and Part 9 to support preparation for the Examination for Architects in Canada (ExAC)* exam.

Join hundreds of architecture professionals and firms who have made the commitment to enhance their Indigenous cultural awareness and joined us on The Path. A portion of each course registration will be contributed to the Indian Residential School Survivor Society, an organization that provides essential services to Residential School Survivors, their families, and those dealing with Intergenerational traumas.

In addition to the RAIC Member Community, RAIC Connects offers a space for each of the RAIC Chapters to share announcements and meeting information, collaborate on projects, and discuss issues specific to the needs and interests of their respective members. As the RAIC continues to establish Chapters and Networks across the country, RAIC Connects will help to bring together practitioners from across each province, territory, or region.
