Jason Robbins, MRAIC

Jason Robbins is currently an architect with Stantec Architecture in Winnipeg after spending several years with the Department of National Defence.

He is a founding board member and current Chair of Storefront Manitoba, a non-profit organization that advances public awareness and appreciation of architecture, design and the built environment in Manitoba.

“Prairie architecture runs deep in my veins,” he says. “My granddad was a practicing architect in Regina. My father was a structural engineer who trained in Saskatchewan, and practiced in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

Jason has a background in theatre and film, and studied marketing and communications before going to architecture school.

“I love architecture. I love talking about architecture, I love visiting architecture, and I love making architecture.”
