HERD: Health Environments Research & Design Journal 
Comprehensive literature review examining evidence-based impact of the built environment on COVID-19 prevention and management in long-term care facilities. Introduces an engineering controls pyramid framework with six key elements: ventilation, spatial separation, physical barriers, hand hygiene stations, resident room zones, and private rooms.
