Green is definitely a theme of this Festival, with sessions on Mid-rise and High-Rise Wood Construction, Performance-Driven Design in relation to energy modeling, Scandinavian Innovation in Sustainable Design, Building for a Net Zero Carbon Future, and several others related to sustainability.
For the first time, POP // CAN // CRIT, a full-day symposium that will explore the education and emergence of architects in Canada, is aligned in timing with Festival 2019. Delegates will conveniently be able to add this option in the registration process.
Also for the first time, all Festival plenary sessions, tours, and workshops will be included in RAIC continuing education certificates.*
