The Ernest Wilby Memorial Scholarship was made available in the will of Mrs. Ernest Wilby as a memorial to her late husband who was a Fellow of the RAIC and resided in Windsor, Ontario. The award of $1,000 is given annually to a student entering the year before the final year of their main architectural course, who shows definite promise and talent in their work and who requires assistance to continue the course. The selection is made by the School staff.
The first award went to a student at the Technical University of Nova Scotia in 1966 and it is subsequently awarded to Schools across Canada on a rotating basis.
