Welcome to the New RAIC Website 

We’re excited to introduce our completely redesigned website, built with your feedback at the center of every decision. This guide will help you navigate the new features and find everything you need quickly and easily. 

New Features 

My Portal 

Your personalized hub for all things RAIC. The portal puts everything you need within reach, eliminating the need to dig through multiple pages to find essential information. 

When you log in, you’ll land on your dashboard featuring at-a-glance information, quick links, latest news and events, and your registrations. 

In the Main Menu on your left, you can: 

• Manage Your Account: Update your account information, add a profile, and view downloads and policies. 
• Update Your Communications Preferences: set up and update your email subscription, including the topics you want to hear most about. 
• View payments: review your payment history and download receipts. 

Members have access to additional functionality within the My Portal, including: 

• Access Your Benefits: Get information about your insurance discounts, practice resources and publications, health and travel benefits etc.  
• Manage Your Directory Listing: Review and update your directory settings and information. 
• View Your Membership Information: Review your membership status, automatic renewal settings and additional membership options. 

The RAIC Linked Services menu contains links to all the external platforms related to the RAIC. This includes: 

• RAIC Connects 
• RAIC LMS 
• RAIC Digital Contracts 
• RAIC Award Force 
• RAIC Store 
• RAIC + Hanscomb Construction Cost Calculator (New member benefit) 

Resources 

Our new resources section makes it easier than ever to find the professional materials and tools you need: 

• Popular Resources – Quickly find your favorite resources 
• Enhanced Search Function – Search up resources with keywords, or filter by resource type or topic.  
• Visual Previews – See thumbnail previews of resources before clicking through  

Enhanced Search Functions 

We’ve completely rebuilt our search functionality across the entire site: 

• Unified Search Bar – Search across all content types from one location in the top navigation 
• Search Function in Key Areas – such as Continuing Education, Job Board, Resources, Award Recipients, Events 
• Advanced Filters – Refine results by content type, date, location, and more 

What’s Changed? 

We’ve reorganized the website to make some pages easier to find. See where to locate key content on the new site, and update your bookmarks, if any. 

General Membership Information 

• Previously: Under “Membership” in the main menu 
• Now: Found by clicking the “Join” button in the main menu  

Renewal Information 

• Previously: Under “Membership” in the main menu 
• Now: Under Main Menu in My Portal 

RAIC Learning Management System 

• Previously: On the lime green bar at the top green corner of the website 
• Now: Under “RAIC Linked Services” in My Portal 

Instructions to access the LMS:

1. Make sure you’re signed in to your portal. Click on “RAIC LMS” located under “RAIC Linked Services”
2. You will be taken to your dashboard. If the course does not appear on your dashboard, click on “My Courses” at the top of the screen to the left
3. Locate and select the appropriate course to be re-directed to that course’s main page. 
4. On the main page of the course, you will find links to the webinar the files etc.
5. On the left side of the screen you’ll find a menu of the course you can also use to navigate through each part of the course

Resources 

• Previously: Scattered under “Professional Resources” and “Public Resources and Advocacy” in the main menu 
• Now: Consolidated under “Resources” in the main menu 

Advocacy Updates  

• Previously: Scattered under “Public Resources and Advocacy” in the main menu 
• Now: Under “Advocacy” in the main menu 

Jobs 

• Previously: On the top navigation bar 
• Now: Under “Professional Development” in the main menu 

Honours and Awards 

Terms of References 

• Previously: On each Award page individually listed under “Honours and Awards” in the main menu 
• Now: On each Award page individually listed on “Honours and Awards” landing page 

Award recipients 

• Previously: Scattered across multiple Awards landing pages 
• Now: Consolidated on the “Award Recipients” page, found under “Honours and Awards” in the main menu  

RAIC Foundation Scholarships and Bursaries 

• Previously: Hosted on a separate website, accessible through the RAIC Foundation Scholarships and Bursaries page listed under “Honours and Awards” in the main menu 
• Now: Hosted on the RAIC website, under “RAIC Foundation” in the black navigation bar at the top

• Resource topics, including Truth and Reconciliation, Climate Action, Equity and Justice, Long-Term Care Design etc. 

Award Recipients Database 

Location: Honours & Awards → Award Recipients 

• Search by keywords 
• Filter by Award category and sub-category 
• Sort by year awarded
