The RAIC has made important strides to integrate equity and justice into its operations since the formation of the Promoting Equity and Justice Advisory Committee in 2021. This includes broadening participation across the profession, expanding access to RAIC programs and services, and embedding equity principles across governance, programming, and infrastructure.
As part of the 2025–2027 Strategic Plan, the committee has transitioned to the Promoting Equity and Justice Working Group (PEJ-WG), a national, action-oriented body that supports diversity and community relationship-building.
