Instructions for Accessing the RAIC Learning Management System

  1. Make sure you’re signed in to your portal. Click on “RAIC LMS” located under “RAIC Linked Services”
  2. You will be taken to your dashboard. If the course does not appear on your dashboard, click on “My Courses” at the top of the screen to the left
  3. Locate and select the appropriate course to be redirected to that course’s main page. 
  4. On the main page of the course, you will find links to the webinar, the files etc.
  5. On the left side of the screen, you’ll find a menu that you can also use to navigate through each part of the course

Self-Retrieve Your Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of attendance/completion are available for self -retrieval through the Learning Management System (LMS). 

How to retrieve your certificate 

  1. Once in the LMS dashboard, select the appropriate course. If the course does not appear, click the My Courses tab in the top white bar and search for the course by name. 
  2. On the course page, scroll to the bottom until you see Certificate of Completion. 
  3. If the Certificate of Completion section displays a message starting with “Not available unless:”, review the listed requirements and complete any required form, survey, quiz, or other course activity before the certificate becomes available. 
  4. If there are no restrictions, click Certificate of Completion. 
  5. You will be redirected to the certificate page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the grey button labeled “Get your certificate.” 
  6. The certificate will open in a new window, where you can download and save it.

FAQs

Why do I see the error message “Not available unless: You belong to Attended Live”?

This means one of the following applies: 

  • Live attendance was required, and you either did not attend or did not meet the minimum attendance time.
  • You attended the live session, but RAIC staff have not yet updated the attendance list. In this case, the certificate will become available soon.

Quiz – Not available unless: You do not belong to Attended Live 

The quiz is only required for participants who did not attend the live session. Since you attended live, you may skip the quiz and retrieve the certificate, provided there are no other restrictions. 

Will RAIC report my attendance? 

For live events, if you are registered with the AIBC and the course was approved for Learning Units, RAIC will report your attendance on your behalf. You may be required to complete a survey that includes your AIBC information. We do not report to AIBC for on-demand webinars. 

If you are not registered with the AIBC, you are responsible for self-reporting your attendance to your provincial regulator.

I cannot find the course in the LMS under My courses 

This may be due to one of the following reasons: 

  • The course has not started yet and is not yet available in the LMS. Courses are typically published close to their start date.
  • The course is not delivered through the LMS. It may be a special course or provided by a third party, and the certificate may be issued separately. Please contact education@raic.org.
  • The course has already taken place, you were instructed to retrieve the certificate from the LMS, but it still does not appear. Please contact education@raic.org for assistance.
