The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada is pleased to announce that a new resource, a Construction Cost Calculator developed in collaboration with Hanscomb, is now available exclusively to its members. This tool provides benchmark building construction rates to support early-stage budgeting and feasibility conversations.
The calculator offers a reliable starting point for testing cost reasonableness during concept development. While it does not replace detailed design or project-specific cost estimating, it provides a solid foundation to guide early planning and client communication.
Members can access the calculator by logging into their member portal and clicking on “RAIC + Hanscomb Cost Calculator” under the RAIC Linked Services menu on the left.
