It is with profound respect and appreciation that the RAIC Foundation acknowledges the many impactful contributions made to the architectural profession in Canada by Yves Gosselin AP/FIRAC, over the course of his career. Yves was president of the RAIC in 2005-2006; Registrar of the College of Fellows from 2011-2013 and a long time Professional Advisor to the RAIC Honours and Awards Program.
His contribution to the RAIC Foundation was equally impactful, serving as a Trustee in 2008-2009 and as Executive Director from 2016-2017. This was a pivotal moment in the evolution of the Foundation as, since its inception in 1964, this position had previously been held by the Executive Director of the RAIC.
Yves Gosselin left an indelible mark on national architectural advocacy, public-sector excellence, and institutional leadership. His passing leaves a legacy of dedication to raising the prominence and voice of architecture in Canada.
