Job Opportunity: Senior Architect / Intern Architect / Architectural Technologist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect / Intern Architect /Architectural Technologist with at least 10 years of work-related experience. This is an in-person position in our studio located in downtown Moncton, New Brunswick. Under the direction and supervision of the firm Principals, the selected candidate will:

• Prepare and oversee production of contract documents.
• Coordinate design and contract documents both internally and with external consultants.
• Participate in internal quality control reviews.
• Oversee the work of junior and intermediate staff.
• Manage communication and relationships with team members, clients and external consultants.
• Provide contract administration including site reviews and reports, submittal reviews, respond to RFIs, and prepare site instructions and change orders.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of work-related experience in similar climates, including design, preparation of contract documents and contract administration. Work experience in Canada is an asset.
• Strong technical knowledge of and demonstrated experience with local building envelope technology, construction methods and detailing .
• Demonstrated experience with local building codes and standards.
• Team player and well organized.
• Demonstrated software expertise: Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Familiarity with Lumion, Twinmotion, CorelDraw, RForm and Procore an asset.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English; fluency in French is also an asset.
