We’re looking for a Senior Architect to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale architectural projects that make a lasting impact on communities. This role offers the opportunity to guide projects from planning through completion, build trusted client relationships, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a studio culture that values design excellence, sustainability, and people.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex architectural projects, overseeing planning, technical production, and contract administration
- Translate client, stakeholder, and community aspirations into innovative architectural responses rooted in sustainability and performance
- Lead the exploration and resolution of complex design and technical challenges, ensuring clarity of design intent throughout delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong working relationships
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architecture, structure, and building systems into cohesive solutions
- Support and lead project pursuits, including RFQs, RFPs, fee proposals, and work planning
- Partner with DIALOG leadership to support design focused client relationships and represent design intent with authorities having jurisdiction
- Mentor, inspire, and grow teams while advancing design quality, emerging methodologies, and inclusive studio culture
Who you are:
- 12+ years of experience leading large-scale projects (>$100M construction value); experience in Aviation or other technical building typologies is an asset
- Professional degree in Architecture required; master’s degree and registration (or eligibility) preferred
- Proven design leader capable of directing multidisciplinary teams through conceptual, technical, and sustainability-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of Revit and BIM platforms with the ability to provide strategic oversight of design workflows
- Experience supporting project pursuits (RFQs, RFPs, fee proposals)
- Organized, decisive leader with excellent client communication and risk management skills
- LEED AP or similar sustainability credentials considered an asset
$105,000 – $135,000 a year
