Our client, a highly collaborative architecture studio, is seeking a Project Architect to join their team. Their work is grounded in technical precision, interdisciplinary coordination, and a clear focus on how buildings perform for the people who use them.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, navigating complex technical challenges, and moving projects confidently from concept through construction. The successful candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to balance creativity with practical delivery.
About the Role
As a key contributor within the studio, you will play an active role in shaping design strategies, coordinating consultants, producing high-quality construction documentation, and guiding projects through all phases of delivery.
You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to solve problems in real time, refine technical solutions, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and thoughtfully.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead architectural projects from concept through construction
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Prepare and oversee drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Develop technical details and resolve design challenges throughout project delivery
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Guide project schedules, deliverables, and coordination across disciplines
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and construction-phase activities
- Support construction administration and site review processes
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
- Assist with proposals, business development initiatives, and internal process improvement
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect/Intern or eligible for registration
- Strong experience in project architecture and technical project delivery
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate effectively across disciplines
- Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and consultants
- A practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
Experience with resilient building enclosures is considered a strong asset, but not required.
