The RAIC is seeking educators, subject matter experts (SME), and course developers to work together on the development and administration of new educational initiatives for the RAIC Continuing Education program.
The RAIC is committed to highly interactive, hybrid learning experiences. As such, all courses will include an online component. Some courses will be designed exclusively for online learning.
The RAIC invites applications for the development of the following courses:
- Architecture Practice Management
- Human Resources for Architects
- Consultant Coordination for Architects
- Marketing for Architects
Under the direction of the Manager of Practice and Education, the Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for developing a course curriculum, course content, learning outcomes, and a structured learning plan. The SME will be responsible for identifying course resources necessary to facilitate learning and developing testing to ensure learners have achieved the learning outcomes.
The SME is passionate about delivering high-quality education programs and is well-versed in developing course content for adult learners. Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry is essential. Working collaboratively with the Program Office team, the SME will develop unique and relevant content for the Canadian architectural community.
This is a 3 to 4-month contract position, for the duration of course development. Development of all courses to start between April – July 2020, and the posting will remain open until course contracts are filled.
