THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a well-established and highly respected architecture and interior design firm based in Winnipeg, Kelowna and Kenora is seeking a Architect to join their growing team.
With over six decades of industry excellence, our client has built a reputation for delivering award-winning, client-focused design solutions across a diverse range of sectors including hospitality, entertainment, Indigenous community projects, corporate environments, government, retail (CRU), and multi-family and single-family residential developments.

As an Architect, you will play a key leadership role in shaping project vision and guiding delivery from concept through completion. You bring the ability to make complex challenges simple — balancing creativity, functionality, usability, accessibility, budget, and schedule.
You are comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels: contributing to project mission and vision while ensuring execution aligns with client goals, regulatory requirements, and construction realities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead and manage large, complex architectural projects across commercial and residential sectors
- Translate client vision into functional, creative, and cost-effective design solutions
- Guide projects through all phases, including documentation, specifications, and construction administration
- Coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders
- Review team output for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project budget and schedule
- Sketch and clearly communicate design concepts to clients and team members
- Manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously
- Represent the firm within professional organizations to enhance brand visibility and industry presence
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of commercial and/or residential architectural project experience
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership on large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and MS Office
- Ability to balance design excellence with technical and financial realities
- Master of Architecture or D.Arch (RAIC Syllabus)
- LEED accreditation considered an asset
