On October 2, 2023 – World Architecture Day 2023 – The RAIC Congress on Architecture two-day event was the first in-person Congress event held in Whistler, B.C. at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. As in 2020 and 2021, the theme continues to be Climate Action and Architecture. The event was organized into three parts; first the day opened with a moderated discussion with Indigenous presenters focusing on how nature, ecological and Indigenous knowledges and practices must be at the centre of climate-resilient solutions. Followed by a presentation of our current state, exploring what we have un\/learned. The session closed with an inter-professional discussion on what actions must come next. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
