This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across all design phases. Candidates should be familiar with design-focused, detail-oriented design, and sustainable design principles, and have exposure to all phases of the design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Realize architectural design from concepts to construction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct client consultations, determine project requirements and define design aesthetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform feasibility studies, conduct cost estimates, manage project budgets, and develop construction schedules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents across both architecture and interior design scopes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create 3D architectural models, visual renderings, and 3D printed prototypes for client presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in project bidding, contract negotiation and contractor selection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and municipal bylaws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and submit permit applications and coordinate with regulatory authorities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administer in construction phase including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI responses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with structural, mechanical, consultants and construction professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Realize architectural design from concepts to construction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct client consultations, determine project requirements and define design aesthetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform feasibility studies, conduct cost estimates, manage project budgets, and develop construction schedules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents across both architecture and interior design scopes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create 3D architectural models, visual renderings, and 3D printed prototypes for client presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in project bidding, contract negotiation and contractor selection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and municipal bylaws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and submit permit applications and coordinate with regulatory authorities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administer in construction phase including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI responses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with structural, mechanical, consultants and construction professionals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Licensure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Architecture from an accredited program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration as an Architect with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural practice, preferably in Alberta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This experience should encompass all project phases including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and contract administration.
