Nominate your colleagues and peers for Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship at the RAIC. The College of Fellows formally recognizes members and distinguished laypersons who have made outstanding contributions to the profession in design, scholarship, or service to the profession or the community.  

We invite all members of the RAIC to nominate an individual. All nominations must be submitted by October 31, 2025, 10 p.m. ET on the RAIC’s online submission platform.  

How can the RAIC continue serving you? Let us know through the RAIC Community Survey! Results will directly inform the reinvigoration of RAIC's membership model, after thorough validation and reporting. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and will remain open until September 15. Participants will be entered to win one of five $100 gift cards, one of five 2026 RAIC Conference day passes, or a grand prize of one All-Access conference pass.

The RAIC invites proposals for continuing education sessions and architectural tours for the conference taking place in person in Vancouver, BC May 5-8, 2026 at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.

The Conference program is designed to promote professional and educational success, and will feature high-quality educational sessions with interactive content, innovative ideas, and engaging discussions. The program will also feature local architecture tours that provide exclusive insight into Vancouver’s built environment.

The deadline for submissions is September 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PT. 

The RAIC Edmonton Network has partnered with the Edmonton Public Library for the Architecture for Young Readers project—an initiative to build a vibrant collection of architecture books for children, adolescents, and teens. Sponsor a book for just $30 until July 25. Each sponsored book will feature a personalized bookplate recognizing your support—whether as an individual or a firm. For every book sponsored, RAIC will match your contribution one-for-one, doubling your impact. Sponsorships are open to individuals and firms nationwide.

Parks Canada has announced the beginning of the pre-qualification phase for the architectural design competition after which up to six respondents will be invited to submit conceptual design proposals. The competition will be undertaken in accordance with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) guidance for competitions in Canada.
