Festival of Architecture supports a new First Nation Library

RAIC Bulletin:

In 2015, the RAIC/AAA were able to raise $10,000 as part of its new commitment of supporting local Aboriginal groups or projects. The RAIC will renew this commitment in 2016 by supporting the construction of a new First Nation Library to be built in Nanaimo at Snuneymuxw's First Nation reserve land as part of the highly successful Write to Read program, initiated by Rotarians Lt. Gov. Stephen Point and retired RCMP officer Bob Blacker. If you are interested in making a financial contribution to this important project, you can add a donation amount as part of your registration to the Nanaimo Festival of Architecture.
