The Architecture Canada | RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter represents all national Royal Architectural Institute of Canada members currently residing in the Metro Vancouver region. The RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter was formed as a voice for Architects and Architecture in BC. It is a part of the RAIC national organization and shares in its common goals for the development and recognition of architectural excellence. Our intent is to implement these goals in BC at the local level.

How does it differ from the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC)?

The mandate of the AIBC is to regulate the profession of architecture within the province in the public interest, as defined in the Architects Act. The mandate of the RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter is to advocate on behalf architects and architecture in British Columbia. The RAIC is very proud to work with Canada’s eleven provincial/territorial associations in our combined interest of the upholding excellence in the profession.

How do I join?
